FAQ

Questions about Shopilot

Shopilot is a hand-curated Amazon deals tracker. Here is how the deals are picked, how current the prices are, and how the site pays for itself.

What is Shopilot?

Shopilot is a hand-curated Amazon deals tracker. Every deal in the stream is picked by a human and tracked for real price movement, then published with the current price, any coupon code attached to the listing, and an independent written review. It is a place to scan a filtered set of live price drops rather than a full catalogue of everything on sale.

How does Shopilot pick deals?

Deals are hand-picked and then tracked for real price movement — no filler listings and no expired coupons. Alongside the price, Shopilot records click activity and how recently a deal landed, so the feed can show which offers other shoppers are actually opening right now. Deals that stop moving drop out of the momentum view.

Are the prices and coupon codes still accurate?

The price shown is the one Shopilot tracked for that listing, and the feed is updated daily. Amazon can change a price or retire a coupon at any time, so the live listing is always the final word — every deal page shows the date the product was first tracked so you can judge how fresh it is. Coupon codes are displayed as plain text so you can copy them before you reach checkout.

How does Shopilot make money?

Shopilot earns through the Amazon Associates programme. As an Amazon Associate, Shopilot earns from qualifying purchases, which means a deal you buy through an outbound link here may pay Shopilot a commission at no extra cost to you. It costs nothing to use the site and the price you pay on Amazon is the same either way.

What do the "Trending" and "Exploding" labels mean?

They are click-momentum labels, based on how many times a deal has been opened from Shopilot since it landed. A deal is labelled "Trending" once it passes 18 tracked clicks and "Exploding" once it passes 40. Deals added within the last 48 hours are labelled "Fresh", and everything else shows as "Picked".

How do I get deal alerts?

Shopilot posts deal drops to WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord, and you can join whichever you already use. The channels get the same hand-picked deals as the site, which is the fastest way to see one before it sells out. Links to all three are in the site header and on the homepage.
